* We are now back in Denmark, and I have started to reply to all the emails.
2010-08-21
*It is foreseen that in a week from now on, I will have to travel to Belgium where I will be staying for 2 to 4 weeks.
I will be staying there until my husband is discharged from the hospital, and able to travel home to Denmark by flight.
This means that I won’t be able update the website in this span of time, nor will I be able to reply any e-mails.
Everything regarding reservations, sales of cats and kittens etc. will be put on standby until we are back home in Denmark again.
Cats, kittens and our other lovely pets will be taken care of by my mother as well as my daughter whom are moving in while I’m away.
But they will not be tending the website and e-mails.
I will be updating the website again as soon as I get home. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

2010-08-17 It is with great sadness that I have to announce that we have taken the hard decision, to close our Cattery as my husband has become ill. Due to this decision most of our beloved cats are looking for new loving homes.
Earning money on our cats has never been the idea of this Cattery. (This is most likely not even a possibility, due to the extreme costs of making a healthy breeding program and providing a healthy environment for the cats.) At the same time, having the Cattery has been an immense hobby of ours, which at the same time has proven to be extremely interesting. This is especially due to my interest in the cats’ genetics, and none the less it has been lovely having these exquisite and divine blue eyed beauties around us all the time. The Cattery has given us a great deal of joyfulness, along with some sadness, through the last 10+ years.
We have decided to sell our cats for the modest amount of 100DKK, since I dislike the thought of “just” giving them away. Money is not the issue but a loving and permanent home is important to us. Buyers will naturally also pay the cost associated with the neutering procedure, since the cats are still fertile. Previous and trusted buyers, can decide whether they want to make the neutering arrangements themselves or if they wish for us to do so.
None of our adult cats will be sold on as breeding cats, as we wish for them all to have a loving and relaxed home as neutered pets, and therefore no longer having to “work”. Our youngsters won't be sold for breeding either, since I can't at the current moment cope with all the paperwork, extra trips to the vet, shipping arrangements and the long trips back and forth to CPH Airport which are often necessary when selling a cat abroad.
Selling our loving cats for this modest amount does not mean that we have started to lack our principal. We still want more than anything to find the best families for each and every of our cats. And likewise we still wish to be able to follow our kitties in their new families. All cats are of course sold with FIFe Pedigree and a sales contract, as always. We will still acknowledge our responsibility towards the buyers, and we therefore provide the exact same guarantee (according to the Danish Sales of Goods act) as we did when we had the Cattery.
The kittens that we currently have aren’t given away due to respect towards other Ragdoll breeders who might also have kittens for sale at the current time. Though we have decided to lower the price of the kittens with a 1000DKK per kitten, in hope of getting them sold so they can come out to their new homes ' soon and therefore not having to stay here longer than necessary. Some of our kittens will (if good enough) be sold for breeding and the price of a breeding kitten will also be reduced with a 1000DKK.
We aren’t expecting anymore litters, and therefore Caramel, Michi and Mini Pearl’s litters will be the last kittens that we will have the enjoyment and amusement of.
We have unfortunately in the last period of time received e-mails about cats that we have previously sold, whom are now looking for new homes due to allergy, moving, divorces etc. We will continually provide help for these families so they are able to find a new, good and healthy home for their cats. These cats will eventually be put up on the website. Whether or not the price is different on these cats, is entirely up to the current owner – we are just the liaison.
We will still be a member of our head club (DARAK) until our very last cat or kitten has found his/her new loving home. We will also be keeping our Prefix, as one never knows what the future might offer at hand. The website will NOT cease to exist, but will instead function as a gallery devoted to each and every of our lovely cats that we have had through the past many years, as well as the cats we have imported for our breeding program, which we have worked with for the past many years. Within the next span of time the pages with male cats along the female cats will be substituted with information about each and every of our cats, who might be looking for a new home.
It has been a pleasure to be a Ragdoll Breeder, and working with these amazing animals - as well as working with other breeders. We have treasured every moment of it. Thank you to everyone housing our beautiful cats here in Denmark and abroad. We know you treasure them and take good care of them. We hope to continue to getting updates and pictures from time to time.
A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to making our breeding better and who has given us the possibility to work with new and exciting breeding material. We will likewise be looking forward to following the Chardani cats and their offspring, in hopefully, many upcoming years.
Also a great thank you to our veterinarian, Korsgade Dyreklinik, in Svendborg, who has done a terrific piece of work with the neutering of our cats and kittens. Thanks a lot for respecting our "hysterical" wishes about not having had other cats in the consultation before or at the same time as our cats. As well as extra cleaning before each of our vitis. We are more than positive about the fact that their effort has contributed in our cats and kittens health condition.
Thank you to everyone who already knew, for your comforting and supportive e-mails.
A great thank you and with utmost gratefulness to my dear and loving husband, Danie, and my two lovely children, Nathalie and Shane, who has always been supportive of my Cattery.
Best and Kindest Regards Charlotte Chardani
